About the Gulf Coast Canine Project

The Gulf Coast Canine Project is dedicated to the conservation of Red wolves through innovative genomic research. Our goal is to understand the unique Red wolf genetic ancestry of the wild canines that live along the Gulf Coast. Our mission is to promote the value of these canines and the habitats in which they live while engaging local communities to help promote their significance in the ecosystem.
