GCCP has a table at FeatherFest!
For the first time in GCCP history, we were able to offer postcards with pictures, infographics, and QR codes linking to our website for learning about and donating to ghost wolf research. We also have started selling merch! Although anyone can buy ghost wolf and GCCP items on our website, this in-person experience showed us just how much people already know about ghost wolves.
Our table was visited and supported by a huge diversity of community members, from City Council candidates, city officials, to residents and travelers and our core founding members, Ron Wooten and Josh Henderson! It was amazing to see how Ron's presence made a full ghost wolf experience for those visiting our table. He is a legend for sure and invaluable to ghost wolves.
We hope to be a fixture at FeatherFest in coming years, so please find us when you visit! There are also plans to keep the Galveston Ghost Wolf table as visible as we can at other community events, like The Artist Boat World Ocean Day Festival that will be held at R.A. Apffel East Beach Park on Saturday, June 8th, 2024!
